ABOUT ENSPIRE

Industrial Experience in the University Environment

The ENSPIRE project is about fostering the development of practical engineering skills among the student body. It is about putting into practice the theoretical knowledge they have acquired in the classroom through the exploration of their own paracurricular interests. ENSPIRE complements the FabLab facility in Kamp-Lintfort. Through ENSPIRE, students experience a professional level of project development and management through which they deliver tangible products/results based on solid engineering or scientific practice, supported by university faculty and industrial partners.

Administratively, ENSPIRE is currently based primarily in the Faculty of Technology and Bionics but projects and students come from all faculties, nicely reinforcing the multidisciplinary philosophy of the university.

Who We Are

We love what we do and it shows. With more than 10 years of experience in the field, we know our students' interests and capabilities well. There’s no challenge too big or too small and we dedicate our utmost energy to every project we take on.

Strategies & Plans

Every project is unique. That’s why we customise every one of our plans to fit its needs exactly. Whether it’s a small strategy or a comprehensive effort, we’ll sit down with the team and project partners, listen to requirements and prepare a customised plan.

Our students regularly win awards but we don’t let it go to our heads. We dedicate ourselves to every project.

The projects are handled by dedicated students with the knowledge and drive to deliver. They are backed by highly qualified professors and research officers.

These are para-curricular student projects with a central focus on quality. Students and their mentors work together to ensure that results meet requirements.
