The Core of ENSPIRE
The long running and successful HSRW Submarine Team has been featured of campus life since the university first opened in Cleve.
ENSPIRE is now part of FabLab.blue. The Facilities team are designing, building, retrofitting and commissioning the machines and research devices that support the university's FabCommunity.
Autonomous driving is not just for the Autobahn. Our Roboboat team are developing a new research tool - the Spoywiesel - for the study of autonomous navigation in the riverine and coastal environment.
The historic Spoy Canal used to join the city of Cleves to the Rhine River. We are beginning a new project, joint with the city administration, to help transition the Spoy from its historical industrial past to a new role as a climate anchor for the city.
