Getting into Formula Student with a self-built Electric Race Car
Rhine Waal Racing is a team of enthusiastic students keen on motorsports with a difference. The eventual goal is to enter one of the Formula Student races in the electric competition. The university's first car is slowly taking shape. There's some miles to go yet, but the first parts are slowly rolling out of the mill.
Designing, building and racing a self-built electric race car is a goal that can only be achieved by a team of dedicated, enthusiastic and motivated individuals working together, sharing complementary knowledge and skills. The team is drawn from all faculties of the university. Mechanical Engineers design the machine, Makers build it, Electircal and Mechatronic System Engineers bring it to live.
Please contact the supervising professor for more details on how get involved.
THIS TEAM IS CURRENTLY HIBERNATING!
Searching for a project, thesis or just want to join a team?
Then you sound like you're right for the team. We need motivated students interested in completing their theses. This is a practical project with real outcomes which you will have completed in a professional environment, same as if you were working in a company.
Bringing the car on the track
This team is currently hibernating and is waiting for new and engaged students to kick start the engine of this project again. Engineers can improve the axe geometry to bring it back on track, while electrical and mechatronic system engineers can be in charge of powering up this potentially gold winning race car.
