FAQ:

Q: What is ENSPIRE?
A:
ENSPIRE is a multi-laboratory initiative which brings all of the various engineering & natural sciences teams together under one project group. Through our interdiscilinarity, the teams share best practice, standardize processes and requirements, raise funds and promote our student-driven successes. At the core of ENSPIRE are its student teams and projects.

Q: Why specifically hire Alumni that have been a part of ENSPIRE?
A:
The teams of ENSPIRE aim to mimic the conditions the students would face in industry to prepare them for their work life. As such the alumni have gained extensive knowledge of project work and collaborating within a team in addition to  expertise thrugh their degree. This includes the conceptualisation of solutions for problems at all stages of a project, as well as the processes needed to efficiently build parts and finish their projects.

Q: What if we are looking for someone to fill a specific position or role?
A:
All alumni have a personal profile. In their their personal achievements, achievements as part of a team and their role(s) within the team(s) are listed. These should give first insights into whether an alumni is suited for a specific position or role.

Q: Are there other ways we can benefit from ENSPIRE?
A:
Yes there are. While ENSPIRE is funded by our university, the teams have to share funding. Thus, our initiative is looking for sponsors. Sponsors gain benefits based on the sponsoring package they chose. For more information view "Supporting ENSPIRE"  (click here).

Q: Who can we contact for more detailed questions?
A:

Presentations from multiple teams aim to display the progress and prowess of ENSPIRE. The tension of the teams is rising, as this event could have a enormous impact on the future of ENSPIRE.

For the past couple months, the communication team of ENSPIRE has been working in close collaboration with the Managing Director Prof. Dr. William M Megill and the other student teams in order to update the entire webpage. Goal of this was to clean up the design, while still keeping a strong focus on the representation of the student teams and their members. Most pre-existing sites of the webpage were redesigned or restructured to better fulfill their function.

The update is expected to go live this month, as long as no complications arise.
