FAQ:

Q: What is ENSPIRE?
A:
ENSPIRE is a multi-laboratory initiative which brings all its teams together into one project group. At the core of ENSPIRE are its student teams and their projects. You may have heard of some of its teams previously without being aware of their connection to ENSPIRE, for example the HSRW Submarine Team or Rhine Waal Racing.

Q: How could ENSPIRE benefit me?
A: ENSPIRE teams are designed to mimic the conditions you would face in industry to prepare you for your working life. The teams work together with sponsors and can be a launching pad for job opportunities with these companies. Each member of ENSPIRE has a portfolio on the website to use as reference for job applications.

Q: How can I join a team?
A:
Each team requires new members to bring some qualifications in order to participate. These requirements will differ based on the team and role you wish to apply for. Check the team requirements here to see whether one of the teams fits with your profile.

Q: Which teams are searching for new members?
A:
Generally, all teams are recruiting new members constantly. However, the recruitment period for each team differs. Some teams look for new members each semester, others have project-dependent recruiting phases. To check whether a team has an open position for you, check their team pages here.

Q: What if I cannot be on campus every day, is it possible to work from home?
A:
While most teams have a very hands-on approach and need you to do work on site, home-office might still be possible depending on your team and current tasks. If you are unsure about how your schedules may clash with working as an ENSPIRE member, please contact your team captain about this.

Deputy Minister Annette Storsberg is visiting HSRW on 02.07.2019 to view a presentation of ENSPIRE on ENSPIRE.  Professors and students have been preparing the day meticulously to leave the best possible impression. Presentations from multiple teams aim to display the progress and prowess of ENSPIRE. The tension of the teams is rising, as this event could have a enormous impact on the future of ENSPIRE.

For the past couple months, the communication team of ENSPIRE has been working in close collaboration with the Managing Director Prof. Dr. William M Megill and the other student teams in order to update the entire webpage. Goal of this was to clean up the design, while still keeping a strong focus on the representation of the student teams and their members. Most pre-existing sites of the webpage were redesigned or restructured to better fulfill their function.

The update is expected to go live this month, as long as no complications arise.
